An intense light is used to target irregular pigmentation or vascular lesions. The light is absorbed by bright red blood cells and melanin/pigment, which causes decomposition of unwanted cells, while leaving the healthy cells intact.

LASER HAIR REMOVAL

Laser therapy can be used to reduce unwanted hair, both on the face and body. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) works by targeting growing hair follicles, destroying the hair and preventing re-growth. The number of sessions required depends on the individual case.

Laser thread vein removal

Facial veins (Telangiectasia) on the nose and cheeks can be quickly and easily removed. The treatment typically takes 20-30 mins and most facial thread veins can be removed in just 2-3 treatment sessions.

I use the same medical lasers as leading Consultant Dermatologists around the world and our technology and medical experience enables me to get great results. The Diode 532 Laser is what is use to effectively treat vessels on the cheeks and nose. This can also be combined for some patients with one or two sessions of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy to remove any background redness and flushing, before targeting the surface vessels with the Diode Laser. This treatment is particularly effective against most facial thread veins up to 2mm in size, but even larger vessels can in some cases be removed a doctor at the clinic using electrocautry.

Laser Thread Vein removal is the most effective treatment currently available for removing Facial Telangiectasia (thread veins) on the face. Other treatments, such as Veinwave or other microwave based technologies can often require multiple sessions to treat the same area, and the treatment is not always as successful as laser thread vein removal. 

Laser therapy can reduce the appearance of facial vessels. The amount of treatment required to reach the desired effect varies depending on the severity of the problem. 

PIGMENTATION PROBLEMS

This includes the treatment of age-spots or solar lentigines, which are the brown marks that appear on the face, chest and back of the hands. One of the most effective ways to treat this is using an Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Laser System, which uses laser light to selectively destroy the pigment in the skin. Creams and topical treatments are not very effective because the pigment is distributed too deep within the skin. The laser light is able to penetrate to the correct level and remove the pigment permanently. It can be combined with conventional therapies including dermal fillers and Botox® injections.The treatment can improve skin tone and texture, lift and hydrate skin and even out pigmentation. It makes skin firmer and smoother, reducing lines and wrinkles. It can be used on the face, neck and chest as well as other areas which have been exposed to sun, such as the backs of hands.

ROSACEA,Facial Redness

Redness of the face is usually due to a combination of background redness, flushing, and superficial vessels (telangiectasia). A combination of lasers is often used to achieve the best results. Typically 2-4 laser treatments for rosacea are required at 3-4 weekly intervals. Patients with severe background redness may require 6-8 sessions. 

In some cases rosacea can be reduced through the use of medication or creams. Alternatively, laser therapy  can be effective method of treating this common condition.

SCAR TREATMENT

Depending on the severity of a scar, various treatments may be recommended, ranging from microdermabrasion to laser therapy and Chemical Peels.
